Sara Berg is a culture and food journalist based in Malmö. She previously worked as a barista and is still extremely particular about her coffee, which has to be lightly roasted, preferably small-batch and with good acidity. In her spare time, she does much the same things as she does for work: visits restaurants and coffee bars, goes to the theatre and art exhibitions, reads books and cooks.
She has written two cookbooks – one about Italian pasta and another about Greek food – as well as a guidebook to Berlin’s restaurant scene. She is currently working on her third cookbook, which also focuses on Italy. Even when she travels outside of work, it’s usually to countries whose food culture she enjoys. It certainly helps if they also have great natural wine and impressive architecture.
