It's that time again:
Come lift with us at our 2nd Mock Powerlifting Meet at our current location, 1106 N. D Street, #7, Sacramento!
This is an opportunity to max your Deadlift, Bench and/or Squat in a supportive, friendly atmosphere!
It's a way to get your feet wet maxing the lifts and being witnessed in your strength and possibly preparing for your first sanctioned meet OR treat it like the "open mic of powerlifting", meaning max your lifts in between competitiions and keep your game strong!
This event is open to BodyTribe members and the general public. You may max 1, 2 or 3 of the powerlifts. We won't be weighing in, since this is not a competition against others but rather a chance to beat your last personal record.
Singlets are not required but highly encouraged. If you don't wear a singlet, you must wear skin tight leggings, shorts or capris with your shirt tucked in during the lifts so that our head and side judges can properly do their job.
Reading of the rules will start at 10am and lifting promptly thereafter!
Lifting fee is $10. All money collected will go towards holding future meets or purchasing powerlifting equipment at BodyTribe Fitness!
If you are interested in lifting please send an email to bodytribe@gmail.com and we'll send you a full info-email and sign you up! Please specify which lifts you will be doing the day of the competition. Again, you can do all 3, or 2 or just 1!
We'll need volunteers to help us run this event as well! Message here and let us know if you'd like to help!
