So our friends at Requiem Events knew i was gonna be in town for a couple months and decided to ask if I would be down to throw a couple Grimeys once a month at their "That Thing On Friday" Fridays at Midtown Barfly. So I called the homie Crescendo and asked what he thought.. and of course.. he was down.. so of course.. so was I. So with this pairing of the Requiem crew handling the lighting, decorations and sound, and the Grimey crew handling the tune selection, line up and DJ'ing, we knew shit would be proper and we would be focused on whats important... entertaining the crowd with those big tune sub warmers you love!
