For its 40th year, ArtSpan’s Open Studios is launching in a corner of the city still providing an accessible home to the creative class, at Islais Creek Studios and Hunter’s Point Shipyard. Over the course of an afternoon, strollers have the opportunity to connect with the artists utilizing these spaces and see the creative process in action. A month-long event, upcoming weekends will criss-cross San Francisco through November 8, leaving much for the art lover to absorb.
