San Francisco Brewing Company (CLOSED)

Housed in a restored 1907 saloon (it has operated as some form of a bar almost continuously since the late 19th century), this brewpub offers microbrews, pub grub and even free tours. Formerly the Andromeda Saloon, it was here that gangster 'Baby Face' Nelson was allegedly captured. The scene is more staid today, but it's hard to pass up the $1 brews from 4pm to 6pm and midnight to 1am.
