Beirut at the Greek Theater

Band chief Zach Condon, a multitasker who performs vocals, trumpet and ukulele, has become a bona fide indie-rock star by mining sounds from foreign lands, giving color to his Morrissey-like vocals. Originally a one-man band, Beirut recently expanded to include members Nick Petree, Paul Collins, Ben Lanz, and Kyle Resnick. Their catchy, world-traveled inspired sound is a fitting match for Berkeley’s Greek Theater.
