Going non-stop after 2009’s award-winning Fantasies dropped, it felt like Metric retired from the spotlight to catch their breath following the release of 2012’s Synthetica, a call to action that considered the role of music in sociopolitical commentary over tight, catchy synths. As of 2015, the Canadian-American band is back in action, touring in support of the even tighter, even catchier and very welcome release Pagans in Vegas.
