POOR MAN'S WHISKEY:
The Bay Area's outlaw music bards bring a reputation for high-energy live shows and an incomparable fusion of folk, punk, rock, and disco to stages and festivals world wide. This "High-Octane Hootenanny" will certainly delight those interested in a foot-stompin good time. Poor Man's Whiskey has evolved into a ragged, spontaneous beast pulling from equally deep wells of story-telling originals, expertly crafted covers and zany on-stage shenanigans.

PMW has released 5 studio albums, "Goodbye California", released in 2011, "Dark Side of the Moonshine" (a double disk set featuring original music as well as the bluegrass interpretation of the Pink Floyd classic album) in 2009, "Roadside Attraction"(2005), and "Train to California" (2003), "Hunnerd Proof"(2002).

RUSTY STRINGFIELD:
Born in San Francisco’s mission district, Rusty Stringfield is a four-piece acoustic sound machine that has been rocking audiences and turning heads since forming in late 2010. With their unique blend of traditional and contemporary music, Rusty Stringfield represents the uninhibited desire to create sounds and emotions that that can be both ear candy and foot stomping. Known for their high-energy bluegrass renditions of an eclectic array of artists, the band has set out on a mission to create a unique experience for its listeners both sonically and visually.
The four-man collaboration that is Rusty Stringfield was inspired in part by the Wednesday night “Sycamore Jams” that took place in the mission district in 2011-2012. It was at those gatherings that Russell Ives (Mandolin, Vocals), Matt Lauer (Guitar, Vocals), Ben Jacobs (Accordion, Vocals), and Rusty Simon (Bass, Vocals) realized they were on to something. The culmination of their collective vision is a world-class musical ensemble with smooth vocals and soaring harmonies accentuated with rollicking guitar, tasty mandolin, rootsy accordion, and thumping upright bass.
Rusty Stringfield has become one of the most versatile acoustic bands on the scene, with the ability to pull off the bluegrass standards of yesteryear and the acoustic adaptations of some of rocks most classic tracks. These are the perfect complement to a repertoire also filled with original compositions that can feel like finding a surprise on an otherwise familiar path.
With the July 2013 release of their first album (eponymously titled), Rusty Stringfield wants you to take a listen, and decide for yourself. Yee-Ha!
