Project Artaud Theater

The non-profit Project Artaud Theater offers a variety of new works, often boundary-pushing and hybrid in character, and including everything from one-person plays and modern dance to outspoken aerial circus theatre like local artist-activist Keith Hennessey's recent Sol Niger. Two other member theatres share parts of the block-long structure: the Traveling Jewish Theatre and the Theater of Yugen/Noh Space (theatreofyugen.org), which specialises in Eastern-influenced theatre, Butoh and performance art.
