Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Encompassing more  than 60 campsites with restrooms, hot pay showers and piped drinking water—all of which are moated by large swaths of scaling redwoods—the campsites at Samuel P. Taylor State Park are truly something to behold. While the smaller, more modest campsites scattered across East of Devil's Gulch Creek can only house three occupants, Group campsites are also available across the road, which can hold twenty-five or fifty people. If you’re an individual who can’t fathom going more than three-hours without checking your email or social media feeds, fret not; Wifi is available at the group campsites as well. (However, we hasten to add that having some uninterrupted R&R with Mother Nature can do wonders for your well-being and, ironically enough, productivity as well.)
