St Boniface Catholic Church

St Boniface's Romanesque interior, restored in the 1980s, has some impeccable stencilling and a beautifully gilded apse topped by a four-storey cupola. Outside Mass times, you'll find the church is gated, so ring the buzzer to get in. Be sure to get there before 1.30pm during the week, when the church closes for cleaning until the next morning.
