About the hosts:

Ballard Reuse rose from the ashes of the Seattle RE Store back in June and while it occupies the same space and employs many familiar faces, it is now twice as full of fascinating treasures and new materials every day. Come see us at 1440 NW 52nd St. in Ballard. http://ballardreuse.com/

Seattle ReCreative promotes creativity, community, and environmental stewardship through creative reuse and arts education within its store and work space at 8408 Greenwood Ave N. Seattle ReCreative brings together members of the community not only to shop, but to create, experience, and discuss art—all with the aim of fostering cultural and personal connection among artists of all ages. Visit their website at www.seattlerecreative.org.

Since 1994, Blowing Sands has been a part of the Ballard arts community. Their gallery and glass blowing studio offer Northwest artisans’ craft work and a chance to see glass blowers at work in the hot shop. Owner David Smith has been a glass blower for over 25 years and is available for commission work and instruction. They are located at 5805 14th Ave NW in Ballard or online at www.blowingsands.com
