Seattle Design Foundation says
Over the last few years, the Farm to Table philosophy of serving and eating locally grown, locally prepared food has blossomed into a national movement. It has inspired chefs, a new generation of young farmers, and even urban food forests. But what about the “dirty” side of the cycle: logistics, packaging, transport, disposal, and sustainably dealing with waste? SDF’s 2016 grant calls for modern, sustainable proposals for food, waste, or the system that ties it all together, from Farm to Table to Cradle.

Seattle Design Foundation calls for modern, sustainable design proposals for food, waste, and the systems that tie them together. Join SDF on June 8th to celebrate the launch of this year's grant cycle, themed Farm to Table to Cradle!

A night of inspiration, information, drinks & design, featuring talks from a few talented people who work a lot with food:

Yasaman Sheri, Designer at Hololens
Michael Hebb, Founder of Convivium
Liza Turley, Board President of Seattle Tilth
Sean Walcott, CDO of Hampton Creek Food & SDF Board Member
