A Music Photography Exhibit By Seattle Music Insider says
Please join us on September 3 in The Triple Door Musicquarium Lounge for opening night of our first SMI photo exhibit, featuring over 25 unique moments in musical history curated by our talented team of photographers.

The event is free to the public, 21+, 4 - 7 PM with music from our special guest Champagne Honeybee (http://champagnehoneybee.com), and there will be some great happy hour specials in the bar.

If you can't make it, don't worry! The photos will be up in the lounge (and for sale - with all proceeds going to Melodic Caring Project - http://melodiccaringproject.org) for all of September and October.

Stick around afterward and watch the last Seahawks preseason game vs. the Raiders in the mainstage at 7 PM! http://tripledoor.com/Calendar/Events/September-2015/Seahawks-vs-Raiders.aspx?date=2015-09-03

Seattle boasts some of the most influential music artists in history. These legends shape the present musical landscape. The past influences the present, and the present shapes the future.

For the past five years, Seattle Music Insider has celebrated the past and present - bringing you the best in the Northwest and way beyond. We champion the local indie artists who practice for hours in obscurity in their garages and basements. And we also cover the national and global artists who come to our city to share their music with us. Many of them started in garages too.

At SMI, we believe that music has the power to do what politicians cannot - and that is to bring people of all races, genders, and other persuasions together through the majesty and the power of music.

Music creates passion. Passion creates music. Music creates love. Love creates music. And music...creates community. Music brings hope to the hopeless and shines the light guiding us through the darkness.

For the past five years, SMI has taken you where you want to go - backstage, on stage, and in the pit. For five years, we have celebrated the past and present covering local music 360°. We now celebrate the future.

The new SMI covers music in and around the Sound. The new SMI is here. http://seattlemusicinsider.com
