Image Journal says
Join us for a reading with author and 2013-14 Milton Fellow Nathan Poole. There will also be a short Q&A and free dessert!

Since finishing his fellowship year at Image and Seattle Pacific University, Nathan Poole has had two books of fiction come out. The first is Father, Brother, Keeper, a collection of short stories that won the Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction. The second is a novella just off the press, Pathkiller as the Holy Ghost.

Nathan's fiction is characterized by generous lyricism and pace that feels classically southern, but a style and pace that is all his own. You can read more about his writing at Image's Artist of the Month feature of him: http://imagejournal.org/page/artist-of-the-month/nathan-poole

He currently works at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. We're excited that he's visiting Seattle and even more excited to hear from his newest work.

This event is free and open to the public.
