Northeastern University Seattle says
Terrorism, cyber attacks, natural disasters, and more threaten our communities, companies, and countries like never before. Meeting these challenges requires building resilience into the critical systems, networks, and infrastructure we depend on.

Join us for an urgent discussion that will tackle the controversial issues that we face as we seek to create a more secure and resilient world, featuring presentations by Dr. Stephen Flynn, one of the world's leading experts on critical infrastructure resilience, and Dr. Mai'a K. Davis Cross, an expert on European politics, from Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities. We are pleased to partner with Global Washington and World Affairs Council - Seattle to bring this important conversation to Seattle.

A panel of Pacific Northwest regional experts, including Jonathan Scanlon, who is based in Seattle as a Senior Advocacy Advisor for Oxfam America, will respond to these presentations with local insight and challenges and engage audience in a dialogue for what must happen to ensure the region’s place as a secure and resilient leader.
