Begin at the beginning for Boss Guitar’s very first performance! Featuring Darren Loucas, Jim Steffen, Reggie Garrett, Betsy Olson, Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons, Orville Johnson and more! Guitarist Thaddeus Turner will be joining to speak about Robert Johnson and early blues guitar. The Royal Room is pleased to announce Boss Guitar, a companion series to the popular, ongoing Piano Starts Here. Beginning in February 2015, Seattle’s finest guitarists get together to interpret and explore the music of the greatest guitarists to play and compose for the instrument. Boss Guitar ranges widely, from country to fusion, from Jimi Hendrix to Chet Atkins, but all with the goal of celebrating the work of these legendary musicians and their chosen form of expression. Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table.
