Chop Suey Presents

Brite Lines (SEA)

"…They span such a wide array of adjectives from song to song (as evidenced on this year’s EP Make Shift) that they’re hard to sum up in a few short sentences. The music is earnest, rooted in New America; part haunted songwriter; broken-hearted and hopeful, with an all-encompassing catchy post-indie rock folk vibe."

Misé (Astoria, OR)

Hailing from the deep PNW, C. L. Trail and Nevada Sowle of Misé strive to combine the various elements of their inspiration: folk, rock & roll, and psychedelia. Live sets include everything from Simon & Garfunkel-esque crooners to violently joyous rock anthems - the goal is to make at least one person cry and at least one person dance at every show. In order to enjoy a Misé set: be ready for yelling and for poetry; be ready for sweat and laughter; ready for silence, and ready for absolute noise. August 2015 marks the release of Misé’s debut LP, “Arts & Crafts,” which will be followed by a West Coast tour.
