Celebrate the life and legend of the late David Bowie at this special free Campout Cinema screening of Labyrinth (1986). Dir. Jim Henson (1986, PG, 101 min.)

The shocking and sad news that David Bowie has passed has left us with a hole in our hearts, but his transcendent presence in music, film, and popular culture will live on forever.

Join us in celebrating one of the most influential artists of his era by experiencing the Goblin King and all his glory on EMP’s mammoth Sky Church screen surrounded by other Bowie-fanatics.

Rediscover his bold, adventurous, and magical persona in this semi-musical, glam-rock feature film where a 16-year old girl is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the enigmatic Goblin King (Bowie).

Tickets include admission to Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic and Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction, where you can peruse our Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, where David Bowie is an esteemed member of the genre's greatest contributers and creators.

Bring the outdoor movie experience indoors with EMP’s Campout Cinema series, featuring film screenings on EMP’s mammoth Sky Church screen alongside cinematically-inspired fun. At Campout Cinema, EMP invites you to get comfy and relax under LED stars on blankets, pillows, cushions, and sleeping bags from home (no chairs please). With themed drinks and music before the screening and during intermission—and other surprises—every Campout Cinema event offers a unique and super themed movie-going experience.
