Show Description - Chronilus is a relatively new Celtic WorldBeat band from the Seattle area. Their enchanting vocal harmonies float over a musical landscape created by a combination of historical, traditional, and modern instrumentation, from all around the world. Here the clairseach, the brass-strung harp that entertained medieval Irish nobility, may play with harmonies from an electric guitar influenced by progressive rock. Funky electric keyboard may provide a solid foundation alongside the driving rhythms of the West African djembe.

Featuring -
Caera Aislingeach: Vocals, Harp, Bodhran
SoniaMJ: Vocals, Keys, Viola, Conga
BoneDeep: Djembe, Bass
Manfred More: Electric Guitar

Raqs Nocturna Members (Bellydancers):
Juliet Dance

Beverly Smith

Producer bio - Chronilus (pronounced: "chron-ill-us") is made up of four members brought together by the common bond of music that transcends time, space, and stereotypes. From Celtic traditionals, to original compositions & new interpretations of ancient poems, stories, myths, and tribal beats, Chronilus is a tribe of chrononaut bards, adrift in the aether of a timeless human experience. Their breakout album "Threshold" has been met with enthusiastic reviews. As one listener writes: "Kickass music! Beautiful voices and deep lyrics fill the disc. I highly recommend this CD to anyone with a love of Celtic, or world beat music. If you want music with meaning you are in the right place."
