In this four week class, students will complete editing of a short narrative film, from start to finish. They will review the script & editor's log for notes on what the director is looking for, then organize and choose best takes of shots. The students will assemble a rough cut and get notes from the instructor, and then finish off the cut. Audio mixing and color correction will be executed, to export and produce a finished film students can use for their creative reel. This class takes editing to the next level, as we focus on beginning to end of editing a short film, meaning all area of that will be covered. Basic experience with Final Cut Pro X will be helpful.
