Community Esbat says
At September's Esbat we celebrate the Harvest Moon in Pisces. It is a time of abundance as we continue to bring in the fruits of the season, and it is a time of balance, celebrating the dualities. This Esbat also falls in close proximity to the Lunar Eclipse, on September 18th, and the Equinox, September 22nd. Come as we weave those cosmic forces with the myth of Demeter and Persephone, releasing what no longer serves to create space for a new dream to gestate in the coming dark half of the year.

Corinna Frenzl first heard the call of the Goddess in her early 20s when she re-rooted herself in nature. After practicing as a solitary for over 10 years, she has now fully embraced community rituals, having participated in and serving in leadership at Sabbats since she joined her first pagan community in Seattle, Gaia's Temple, in 2007. Corinna deeply appreciates the mentorship she has received from Sally King, EagleSong, Rev. Judith Laxer and most recently Lauren Herold for inspiring her to continue to spiral deeper through the wheel of the year. Corinna is excited to be stepping up and sharing her love of ritual and of the Goddess with the Cunning Crow Community this fall.

About The Cunning Crow Apothecary Esbat series...

The moon and her cycles have inspired mystery and ceremony through all cultures and for time immeasurable. As she rises from darkness to grow full, her light encourages us to expand and shine light on our dreams. As she returns to the mystery, her light waning, we are reminded to go within to discover our deepest resources. Her cycle of fecundity and repletion calls us to explore our world and how we relate to it. In the cunning craft, the moon is seen as the triple aspect of self; Self in our youth, Self in our fullest expression and Self as the deep vastness of wisdom. The worship of the moon and the celebration of all that she teaches connects us to a deeper sense of self and unites the individual with community. In the witches craft, the celebration of the moon is often done in community.

In the spirit of community, remembering our wisdom and honoring the cycles of nature, The Cunning Crow Apothecary is delighted to be hosting community offerings in dedication to the celebration of the moon, and to honor each other in her light.

We invite you to join us for these magical evenings, as an opportunity to deepen in your relationship with the moon, your own magic and community.

Cost: $10-20 donations appreciated per person. 50% of donations are given to a local charity (T.B.A.)
