David Guilbault Parlor Guitar Show Special Guest: Jeremy Serwer
Advertising
Time Out says
Seattle singer-songwriter David Guilbault in an intimate performance of his original, heartfelt Americana songs, played on vintage parlor guitars.
David will be accompanied on resonator guitar by fellow singer-songwriter Jeremy Serwer..
Each of these vintage guitars have a unique sound that inspired the song compositions. First is an Allied Arts all birch parlor guitar made by Regal in the Thirties. Next is a rare birds-eye mahogany Kay concert guitar from the Fifties. And last is a Harmony mahogany & spruce-topped H-162, possibly from the Forties. All three made in Chicago.
2014 has seen the release of two new EP’s – “True,” produced by Chris Klimecky and “Bare,” produced by Jason Goessl. They are two distinctly different flavors of music. You can download them on BandCamp http://davidguilbault.bandcamp.com/
