The event creator says
Dearest femmes,

Summertime is upon us, and we think it's time to celebrate at Seattle's queer Disneyland, Denny Blaine. Denny Blaine is a very queer-friendly, body-positive, and nonjudgmental space for all folks, bodies, and personalities.

Bring your swimsuits (or not, and go nude!), towels, blankets, games, books/magazines, and/or booze. If nothing else, bring yourself!

A few notes about Denny Blaine:
1. It is not wheelchair accessible. The grass area is at the bottom of an incline and has two sets of fairly steep steps to get to the water. We can plan to camp out at the top of the grass area for those who want to avoid the stairs. Please let us know if this would be beneficial for you.
2. While I have always experienced Denny Blaine to be a space of and for queers, this past week a tourist group came to "see the sights." I hope that this isn't a regular occurrence, but please know that this is a possibility.
3. It is not scent free. Because it's a public outdoor space, people are frequently smoking.

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns. Most of all, we hope to see many of you there on Saturday!
