DIOS - Divine Instruments of Spirit Intro Training, Sunday February 22nd 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Free DIOS is an interfaith network of artists in sacred service, who -- consciously bring spiritual principles into their art, and -- courageously bring their art into service for the world. DIOS artists serve in more than 18 communities around the Puget Sound and beyond. Members range from novices to full professionals in any medium: music, dance, theatre, visuals, text, textiles, cuisine, and emerging forms of all kinds. We connect via a weekly e-news with member announcements, articles, and practice opportunities to amplify our spiritual service. Though there are no minimum time commitments, no dues or requirements, DIOS artists do take a special interest in mutual support and connection, and in doing and promoting good works in the world. This intro session is also a great stand-alone workshop for novices and veterans alike. We crack open the treasure trove of spiritual gold the arts provide -- creativity, ego, illusion, discipline, judgment, connection, bliss, serenity.
