Dirty Little Leprechaun

Time Out says

A leprechaun (Irish: leipreachán) is a type of fairy in Irish folklore, clad in a red or green coat, who enjoys partaking in mischief. The leprechaun is said to be a solitary creature, who enjoys practical jokes, and might try to murder you, possibly by drowning you at sea, if you aren't paying attention. The first recorded instance of the word in the English language was in Dekker's comedy The Honest Whore, Part 2 (1604), and was pretty naughty. According to David Russell McAnally the leprechaun is the son of an "evil spirit" and a "degenerate fairy." Dirty little leprechauns. Come celebrate with us as we dance to dark and hard anthems fit for dancing with the devils from afar. Dress in contemporary leprechaun garb, or as a leipreachán of old: They would have worn a red square-cut coat, richly laced with gold, and with a hat and buckles. Stay tuned as we plan further announcements about DJs, a birthday and more... 1009 E Union Lower Seattle, WA 98122 FREE for members before 10pm $5 after *Mercury @ Machinewerks is a private club.*
