Ensuring Education For All says
Did you know there are still 58 million children out of school worldwide?

Join YPIN for a special evening with Ashley Wilson from the Global Campaign for Education – US (in town from Washington D.C.!) to learn about the Education for All movement and discuss ways we can ensure all children have access to a quality education. How can we influence the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals on education over the next 15 years?

The Education for All movement is a global commitment to provide quality basic education for all children, youth and adults. The movement was launched at the World Conference on Education for All in 1990 by UNESCO, UNDP, UNICEF and the World Bank. Participants endorsed an ‘expanded vision of learning’ and pledged to universalize primary education and massively reduce illiteracy by the end of the decade. Six key education goals have been identified in order to meet the needs of all children, youth, and adults by 2015. Grab a drink and discuss the importance of global education with our friends from the Global Campaign for Education and fellow YPIN members.

A special thank you to GCE-US for providing beer and snacks. This event is free and open to all 21+.
