· Learn how to f*cking relax.
· Stop worrying about being so f*cking funny all the time.
· Quit f*cking panicking and start reacting honestly.
· Practice tools to conquer the f*ck out of an empty stage.
· Be f*cking present and accept simplicity.

You’re in your head. “Am I funny enough?” “Was that a good choice?” “Did I commit enough to playing that dead kid?” Sometimes you need to say, “F*ck You, Brain.” In this workshop, Stephen Carter will teach you how to get out of your head and into the moment.

Stephen Carter has been making people laugh for 31 years and performing improv comedy for 14. Newly returned to Seattle after a 9-year hiatus helping politicians lie in Washington, D.C. he has a comedy background that includes sketch writing, coaching, teaching, and performing short and long form improv. Stephen’s teaching focus is on the fundamentals of quality scenes, approaching improv with mindfulness, and having good chemistry with any performer. He's thrilled to be teaching this workshop to meet new people in the Seattle improv scene and to combat his chronic paralyzing fear no one will like him.
