You will simply love our dinners at Duke's. Enjoy a tasty four-course Wild Alaska Sustainable Seafood dinner while you listen to LIVE instrumental jazz music by Michael Powers. You will come away happy, full of amazing anecdotes about this entertaining event and fully satisfied with Duke's food!
ABOUT MICHAEL POWERS:
Your ears won't believe what your eyes are seeing! Michael's mastery of the guitar will be immediately evident to you, but, as you listen all of a sudden, you hear a harmonica or a trumpet, steel drum, a vibraphone, saxophone, or even voices but he's still playing the guitar! He does this through his skilled manipulation of a synthesizer with his foot. This could be gimicky but because of his super musicianship it sounds exactly like the respective instruments would if a virtuoso was playing it...and why not? --one is!
MENU SPECIALLY PREPARED BY EXECUTIVE CHEF 'WILD' BILL RANNIGER:
- Lightly blackened Halibut Quesadilla
- Gulf of Alaska Cod & Chips with famous homemade tartar sauce
- Alaska Weathervane Scallops and roasted shallot reduction with polenta cake
- Wild Alaska “Pan Seared” Salmon with fresh herbs, balsamic infused beurre blanc, organic baby red potatoes and fresh vegetable
- Local favorite Lopez Island Creamery Moose Drop ice cream
