Located on a remediated superfund site along Seattle's Duwamish River, Federal Center South is headquarters to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Northwest District.

A design-build collaboration between ZGF Architects and Sellen Construction, this project is designed to be “net zero capable” with an EUI of 20, has achieved LEED Gold Certification and is currently on target to receive an Energy Star rating of 100.

Beyond its merits as one of the most energy efficient office buildings in the nation, the project also features a beautifully daylit atrium adorned with reclaimed wood, rainwater reuse systems, and a site restored with natural capacity to clean and infiltrate stormwater.

Come join us as we tour this 2013 AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten winning project that is an example of sustainability leadership in our region.

The tour will be hosted by building operations experts on the GSA staff.

Note: ALL ATTENDEES must bring a government-issued identification card (ex: driver's license, passport) in order to participate in the tour. No exceptions will be allowed.
