Fretboard Journal Seattle Meetup August 10, 2016 says
It's been a long time since our last Seattle reader meetup... let's do one again.

This is a completely free event for any guitar / mandolin / banjo friends in the greater Seattle area. Bring a instrument to show & tell, meet the FJ crew or just have an IPA and shoot the breeze.

Local luthiers will be on-hand, including Steve Andersen, Michael Gurian and Fletcher Brock. Chris from Union Tube and Transistor will also be on-hand, all the way from Vancouver.

We also know local collectors will be bringing out some gems, including the 1909 Lakeside Jumbo in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9MlFhsV_78

and some stellar Martins, Gibsons, etc.

Urban Family is located on the north end of Magnolia, past Fisherman's Terminal. It has incredible beers and plenty of room but no food on-hand (except pretzels). Feel free to bring in food, order a pizza, etc.

We'll have copies of the new Fretboard Journal 36 on-hand... we'll also have a fun announcement or two about the Fretboard Summit happening this October.

Mostly, we drink beer and talk shop!
