Have you ever cracked a joke to break the tension? There is no doubt that being the "comic relief" in a story as deep as Man of La Mancha takes a skill set that embraces both physicality and honesty. We are thrilled to welcome Don Darryl Rivera, Sancho Panza in Man of La Mancha, back to The 5th following his Broadway debut as Iago in Disney's Aladdin. Don Darryl is a master of physical comedy who knows how to ground his performance in truth. Using your heart, your mind and your body, explore the acting skills that can make audiences laugh in delight even as they are also challenged to be true to ideals.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun, jump in and try something new.
