Ghouls Night Out (Board Games At The Mercury) February

Join us February 25th for an evening of spooktacular gaming in a fun, safe environment. Open to the public (21+), Ghouls Night Out invites everyone for a night of stress free gaming at the Mercury. Bring your favorite board game, your MTG deck, and/or some friends for this night of fun. Feb 25th* $5 ($1 off for female-identifying persons) * 9pm * 21+ * Open to the public ***FAQ*** What makes this a "Ladies Night"? For starters, any female-identifying persons gets $1 off admission at the door. Otherwise, this is just an explicitly safe space free from harassment, sexism, and other nastiness. Anyone caught not playing nice will be asked to leave. What if I identify as male, can I still come? Of course! EVERYONE is welcome, provided they are over 21. This event is in no way exclusive. I'm not a member of the Mercury, can I still come? YES! You don't even need a member to guest you in. This event is open to EVERYONE (provided they are over 21). What *kind* of gaming? Board games, Pen and Paper RPGs, Cards, you name it! We will have on hand Cards Against Humanity, Settlers of Catan, and some other classics, but feel free to bring your own. Is this a smoking night? We will be a non-smoking establishment for this evenimg. Vape pens are permitted, provided you are polite and respectful - please be mindful of others around you when you exhale your vapors. Why do we need a "female friendly gaming night"? Unfortunately, many female gamers are ridiculed for their interest and don't feel safe in many traditional "Gamer spaces". The goal of Ghouls Night Out is NOT to encourage a division of the genders, but rather to create a space where women feel welcome rather than frightened. Does this mean there's no dance floor? Of course we will have a dance floor! We will have space available for those who just want to dance AND our DJ's take requests! So what's the important info again?
