About the Writers
Matthew Kelsey was born in Glens Falls, NY. He teaches at Everett Community College and for the UW’s Robinson Center for Young Scholars. He has received teaching fellowships for the University of Washington's Summer Writing Program in Rome (2011) and UW's Friday Harbor Marine Labs (2012; 2015). In the summer of 2015, he received a work-study scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. His writing has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Best New Poets, The Classical, The Monarch Review, and elsewhere.

Jay McAleer was a 2013 Jack Straw Writer and has received residencies from the Vermont Studio Center and Centrum Arts Foundation. His work has been featured online at Ordinary Madness and The Far Field, in print in Pacifica Literary Review and as part of the 2013 Jack Straw Writer’s anthology.

Chelsea Werner-Jatzke is a writer from New York City living in Seattle. She is co-founder of Till, an annual writing retreat at Smoke Farm in Arlington, WA, and is the Communications Associate for the Frye Art Museum. She received her MFA from Goddard College, is a fiction editor at Pacifica Literary Review, and is editorial director at Conium Review. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming from H_NGM_N, Sonora Review, Monkeybicycle, Everyday Genius, Pif, Beecher’s Magazine, and Tupelo Quarterly, among others.
