Seattle Art Museum will be open late on June 9 to celebrate the new exhibition, "Graphic Masters: Dürer, Rembrandt, Hogarth, Goya, Picasso, R. Crumb." The celebration will feature music, art, animation, and zines. Bring your family and friends—the whole community is invited! Free and open to the public.


5–9 PM: SAM + Short Run : Zine & Print Fair
A showcase of local illustrators, zinesters, and printmakers curated by Short Run Seattle.

5–9 PM: Printmaking
Create your own prints with local artists!

5:30–8:30 PM: Art of Jazz
featuring Happy Orchestra.

5:30, 6:30 & 7:30 PM:
SAM Performs: Book-It Repertory Theatre
Experience an in-gallery reading of R. Crumb’s The Book of Genesis.

6–7:30 PM SAM Gallery Opening
Join the artists in celebrating the opening of "Contemporary Printmakers" at SAM Gallery with light refreshments. Featured artists include Troy Gua, Rachel Illingsworth, Iskra Johnson, Curt Labitzke, Stephen Rock, and Kate Sweeney.

7 PM: Seattle Animation Mini-Fest
Animation artist Clyde Petersen presents a collection of films by The Seattle Experimental Animation Team, featuring works by Drew Christie, Webster Crowell, Britta Johnson, Stefan Gruber, and Guinness Waller.
