Happy Orchestra, produced by drummer Tarik Abouzied, is a band that puts smiles on faces and lights fires under feet. Its members are drawn from some of the Northwest’s most highly regarded funk, jazz, and soul bands including McTuff, Skerik’s Bandalabra, Richie Aldente, and more. The band, nominated 2015 Alternative Jazz Group of the Year by readers of Earshot Jazz, combines instrumental and compositional firepower with a determined effort at crafting an intensely happy musical experience.

TETRABOX
This place is hip and we're sure that you will be feeling it when you're taken on the Tetrabox journey. Tetrabox delivers original music that sounds somehow familiar and instantly catchy as you find yourself singing along. With a rippin' horn section including the great Roy Brown, Josh Clifford and Trevor Parrish always laying it down hard, you'll be swept away while digging into the grooves of the winged string-master, Papa Josh. If his lines aren't enough, you've got the dynamic Farko Dosumov right there lighting fireworks behind everything. All of this experienced on the funky beat bed of the one-handed drum roll master, Davy Nefos. All of this fronted by keyboardist, singer and composer, Joey Walbaum.
ISTVAN & FARKO
Istvan plays an acoustic nylon-string guitar, Farko plays a five-string electric bass. Together they produce a unique flamenco sound that includes many influences such as funk and world music to mand jazz flavors.
