Harvesting Soul: Spirituality as Compassionate Revolution in a Changing World.

An Elders Council with Della Rice-Sylvester, Sarah MacLean Bicknell & Karyn Schwartz

Hosted by The Cunning Crows Lauren Herold & Ylva Mara with special guest Imani Sims

The wisdom of our Elders is a invaluable treasure. We seek to engage our various communities through the Elders Councils as a form of spiritual activism. Each council will cover a number of provocative and empowered topics within a theme unique to the social times and natural season of the council.

Topics we will explore this autumn are:

* The use of ritual and soulful art as a form of radical and compassionate activism

* How to engage our relationship with Nature, Source, The Mystery in order to empower our work as change makers

* How to establish effective ecuminical and cross cultural council

* Ways of addressing the larger unseen energies behind systemic oppression and the role of spirituality and soulful art in abolishing these systems (racism, xenophobia, anti - LGBTQ, white-supremacy, isolationism and neo-fascism, misogyny, etc)

* Elders thoughts on where we are going as a species, what Earth and Goddess/Spirit need from us moving forward

No big deal. Just some light conversation! The event will be ADA accessible, scent free and a safe space for POC, Trans, LGBQ communities. We will have ASL translation services.

Cost: Sliding scale of $25 - $75 per person
* A portion of proceeds will go to Duwamish Tribal Services

When: Doors open at 6:30, event BEGINS at 7pm with opening ceremony by Lauren & Ylva
