Hella Much: Y'nember September says
It's September, my babies. For a lot of people that means a time for life's transitions. We as individuals and as a group are, too, of that ilk. We'll be changing venues soon and it's hard not to reflect on what times we've had in the Grotto. So as most people do, when going from one era into the next, we like to reflect on the things that got us to where we are... things like our favorite Vines, our favorite sketches, the most important dogs we've seen- you know, life changing moments. Come join us as we explore the moments in our history, both true and made up, that got us to where we are as we move forward onto other stages. Think of it as a flashback episode of a show that hasn't been on the air that long- so most flashback worthy things have simply just not happened yet.

Just a reminder: Hella Much is a QTPOC centered show, meaning it is a place where queer/trans/people of color ARE the default. the show's ideals, happenings, and narrative are OURS as a default. we don't have enough of an intentional presence in comedy so this show was made to be that. A place where us "othered folk" get to play "your team" at the cost of the rest of the world.

This months featured comedians are:
Anthony Robinson
Jilberto Soto
Kathleen Nacozy
Mona Concepcion

Hella Much is:
D.J. Martinez
Finn Cottom
Genevieve Ferrari
L Henderson
and Monisa Brown

The show is $5, starts at 7pm. Get there on time because we tend to sell out and I don't want yall to miss out on what me and mine can do.

Accessibility info:
Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the Grotto. The Rendezvous is not a scent-free venue but we do ask that those in attendance do not where scented products. We are working on the logistics regarding the new venue options so hopefully some of the access issues can be smoothed over. Since the show is primarily paid for out of our pockets, we can't yet afford an ASL interpreter but bear in mind it is something we've discussed before and have been seeking the resources to.
