Improv Gift Exchange says
Seattle-based improv group Secret Bagel is proud to present the premiere of a new holiday tradition the Improv Gift Exchange.

Secret Bagel will be joined by other local comedy groups including Mr. Rogers After Dark, Scenic Detour, and the cast of Unexpected Production’s Cotton gin to provide a night of hilarity to kick off the holiday season.

The one-night only performance takes place Saturday, December 3 at 10 pm at the Pocket Theater. Tickets are $10 in advance and $14 at the door, with pay-what-you-can beer and wine available. The tone will be merry and bright but the content will for adults only. The improvisers invite the audience to bring a small, wrapped gift to exchange – and maybe they’ll receive something in return. Audience members are also encouraged to bring gift cards to donate to local youth and families in need this holiday season.

Secret Bagel is a three-person improv group committed to delivering high quality, high energy, and high whimsy comedy. Steve Henry, Brandon Jepson, and Lindsey Peterson have over 40 years of combined improv experience and have recently performed at The Slate Theater and Jet City Improv.

Mr. Rodgers After Dark stars Joe Koenen and Amalia Larson helping the audience navigate the adult world, tell you you’re special, and hold your hand as you navigate new experiences and feelings. Mr Rogers, and Lady Aberlin, and the gang from the Neighborhood will make the world a little easier to navigate.

Scenic Detour Improv is a Seattle/Everett based improvisational group that creates original long-form improv shows based on audience suggestions.

Unexpected Production’s Cotton Gin is "Avenue Q" meets improv comedy. Where do puppets hang out after their day jobs? Well, after singing songs and dancing at the children's theater, they head down to their local watering hole and pull up a bar stool. And when the Cotton Gin gets a little rowdy, marionettes and sock puppets alike bust out with bawdy songs and jokes.
