Dustin Schisler recaptures the lost genius of Roy's singular voice with all of the desperate vulnerability and distinctive operatic charisma that launched the Big O to stardom. With a twelve piece backing band that features strings, horns, and the lovely and talented Royelles singing backup, you'll be catapulted to a bygone era, a time when the words "rock n roll" were synonymous with style, class, and showmanship.
Opening up the show is the acclaimed James Apollo Five. A rhythm and blues big band of sorts that weaves frontman James Apollo's gritty, haunting voice together with soulful guitar lines, a full horn section, and the bluesy wail of a Hammond B3 to create a sound that walks the line between classic and original.
