Intro To Carw & Plugging In Dec. 6th says
Introduction to CARW and Plugging In
Dec. 4th (Sun) at 10am-12pm or Dec. 6th (Tues) at 6-8pm)
RSVP (for either) --

FYI: This is the same workshop (only go to one). We will send you the location confirmation & the online option.

We will provide a deeper introduction to CARW's structure, so you can better plug into roles and opportunities -- our Solidarity Groups, our Campaign Committee, as well as key education / leadership development opportunities (eg: study groups). Additionally, we will provide a mini training on how to host your own neighborhood conversation about racial justice, the election, and community action.

Facebook Event (for Dec. 4th):

Coalition of Anti-Racist Whites (CARW): Founded in 2000, CARW develops the anti-racist analysis, organizing skills, and leadership of white folks in the Seattle-area in order to build vibrant multiracial movements for social change. CARW honors the self-determination and leadership of communities of color by building strategic and accountable partnerships with grassroots organizations based in communities of color. Our current partner organizations include: Got Green, Bayan, the Duwamish Tribe, NWDC Resistance / Not1More, Casa Latina, El Comite, and Seattle Black Book Club / Block the Bunker Coalition. We are an organizational member of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), a national network of white anti-racist organizers and organizations.
