Welcome to Geek Week, a series of free events for designers, techies and entrepreneurs hosted by General Assembly, Seattle Met and Urban Parks Activation Partnership.

About This Event

Tickets are FREE! But you must reserve your spot online:

General Assembly will provide workshop materials for those who have registered.

In this fun, fast-paced, hands-on workshop, you’ll get to think through your projects and business problems from a user’s perspective, by physically mapping out their concerns in space. Gather user feedback by practicing rapid prototyping and testing in groups, organize the issues your business faces, and create a plan of execution.

This free session will be useful for designers, devs, UX practitioners, product teams, startup founders, and problem-solvers of all kinds - anyone who needs to prototype and ideas rapidly as part of their role.

- Understand the reasons for using lo-fi paper prototypes as part of the process of user testing, evaluating interfaces, and gathering feedback
- Create rough sketches and run through paper prototyping exercises
- Learn about apps and methods to translate paper prototypes to digital materials
