About Project Unconditional

For more than four years, photographer Jane Sobel Klonsky has worked on Project Unconditional — a series of photos and stories focusing on the relationships between dogs in the twilight of their life and the people who love them. The series has taken Jane from her home in Vermont across the country, meeting and photographing diverse people and their dogs: rescued older dogs and their adopters, working dogs and their handlers, service dogs with those they assist and guide, and cherished life-long family pets with the people who dote on them. In Oct 2016, a selection of photos and stories from Project Unconditional were published as a book, "Unconditional: Older Dogs, Deeper Love."
