Opening Reception Saturday, February 27, 5-8pm
Exhibition runs February 24 through April 3, 2016.

Next up in our series of CoCA Pops, we're please to present Tacoma artist, Jeremy Gregory, who brings his art to life through paintings and hand crafted posable puppets in his upcoming exhibition "The Dirty Circus of Life" at Columbia City Gallery. Expect Jeremy to guide you through his observations of every day life. From the tricks of a mischievous magician to the inexcusable antics of clown cops.

Gregory's passion for turning his edgy and gritty style of art into 3-D posable puppets started about four years ago. He describes them as his own children with each of them having a unique back-story.

Gregory's talent has been recognized by City Arts Magazine as Tacoma's Top Comic artist. He had an alt-comic series in the magazine titled True Grit from 2008 - 2011. He is also an active participant in community mural projects in the Puget Sound region. He is a graduate of the Arts Institute of Seattle and currently teaches graphic arts in downtown Tacoma at School of the Arts High School. His artwork has been on exhibit up and down the west coast.
