About The Lumineers:
The Lumineers are songwriters Wesley Schultz (vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (percussion, piano) and cellist and backing vocalist Neyla Pekarek, hailing from Denver, Colorado. They originally performed on KEXP in April 2012 right after the release of their first album, and the video of that performance has been viewed more than a million times. Now, at long last, they are back with their second album, Cleopatra, a collection of such depth and texture it affirms

The Lumineers as a band in for the long haul, with a growing canon of songs that stand comparison with the best America has to offer. It confirms The Lumineers as a band out of time. Theirs has been an old fashioned word of mouth success, based on great songs and emotive live performances, a return to essential values that saw them hailed as America’s answer to Britain’s nu folk movement. We are delighted to welcome them back to Seattle – albeit on a slightly larger stage. Their new album Cleopatra is available for pre-order now.

About the Campaign for KEXP’s New Home:
A shared passion for “music that matters” has inspired the listeners, artists, and curators of the KEXP Community for more than 40 years. Now, in order to increase that impact, we need to grow physically, too. KEXP’s New Home is designed specifically to reach more music lovers, break down barriers between listeners and their favorite artists, and make it even easier to share new music and experiences with KEXP Community members all over the world.
