Join NPCA and the Keys to Freeze riders at the Cascade Bicycle Club for an evening of bike adventure travel stories from national parks and beyond. The Keys to Freeze riders will share stories and images from their 9,000 mile ride from Key West, FL to Deadhorse, AK raising awareness on climate change issues being faced by our national parks.
From the riders – “As long as the natural landscapes of the United States have been the lifeblood of our nation, they have been under threat from shifting laws and energy exploration. In February 2015, six young explorers will embark on a 9,000 mile unsupported cycling journey from the southernmost to the northernmost points of the United States reachable by road to help preserve America’s natural beauty. Our crew of filmmakers, artists, and writers will collaborate to produce a documentary and a novel about the country’s wild places and the people that are taking action to protect them. From Keys to Freeze a story of adventure is waiting to be told.”

The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is an independent, nonpartisan voice working to address major threats facing the National Park System.
