Lgbtq Filmmaking Workshop says
This 2-day evening filmmaking workshop takes students through the process of shooting a scene from beginning to end, using a Sony A7s camera. At the conclusion, students will walk away with footage for use in their portfolio or experimentation in post-production. Workshop instructor: Brody Willis of Blanket Fort Films.

The class size is limited to 8 people. Registration for the workshop series first come-first served, suggested donation $25. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Note: You must officially register here to be enrolled in the workshop.

Tuesday March 15, 6-9pm
The first segment of the class will involve technical instruction with lighting, camera, and storyboard basics, and a brainstorm of a scene without dialogue that you will then light and shoot on the following day.

Wednesday March 16, 6-9pm
Light and shoot your scene.

What do I need to bring?
We will provide paper & pen as needed. You may bring your own notepad or laptop & tablet to use for your storyboard if that is useful to you. If you would like to keep the footage you record, bring an external hard drive (1TB or greater) on the last day, or be prepared to download footage after the workshop via Google Drive.

Do I need any previous experience to attend?
