Because of recent events and the need to release some energy. The focus has to change for the event. I just need to dance, not talk, not explain, JUST DANCE.
This will be Black (from the African diaspora), Latinx and Indeginous centered. This will be enforced, so be respectful.
In many communities’ dance is an act of protest and resistance. This space is about peace, protest, resistance and movement.
As always this is about Black Queer and Non-Queer Bodies needing to be heard, needing to be healed.
Bring what you need for self-care and love. Snacks, chairs, food, drinks, dancing shoes and just over all positive vibes.
The Park is a block away from the Othello Light rail Station.
