"Mamaya in Seattle” is an African Dance Musical written and directed by husband-and-wife performing duet, Aboubacar "Boka" and Afua Kouyaté.
Boka Kouyaté is a "Griot" also known as a "Djeliba" a native of Kankan, Guinea. Afua Kouyaté, is one of Seattle’s treasures renowned for building cultural pathways for youth and families in African culture. This production expands cultural awareness of West African music, song and dances here in Seattle, WA.

This all-star cast will be presenting West-African music, song and dance:

The African market place opens at 6pm. Come early! Bring friends and family!

General seating opens at 7:00pm.

Advanced tickets will be sold on Wednesday, April 15th 7-10pm a Ruumba Notes Lounge in the Columbia City, Seattle.
