Marina Albero Quartet At Tula's says
The Marina Albero Quartet returns to Seattle's place for jazz, Tula's, on September 9th, on the heels of their riveting sold out performance at the club this past May.
The quartet features Evan Flory-Barnes, one of the most innovative and inspired voices of the doublebass in the past decade, Seattle's iconic drummer D'Vonne Lewis, and master percussionist, Jeff Busch.
Pianist Marina Albero has quickly established her presence on the music scene in Seattle, since her arrival from Barcelona two years ago. Her amazing virtuosity is hard to categorize, her piano style steeped in the musical journey that has been her life. Her playing raises images that depict the traditions of jazz, flamenco, classical, afro I said previously, she is difficult to categorize, she is, in the end, Marina!
